Overview

A growing medical technology organization is seeking a Clinical Specialist to support the adoption and clinical use of innovative medical devices across Brazil.

This is a highly hands-on position for a healthcare professional who enjoys working directly with surgeons, operating room teams, and hospital staff. The successful candidate will provide clinical support during procedures, deliver product training, and help improve patient outcomes through effective product implementation and education.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide clinical support during surgical procedures and product use

• Train surgeons, nurses, and hospital personnel on medical device applications

• Build strong relationships with healthcare professionals and key stakeholders

• Support product launches, evaluations, and clinical trials

• Collaborate with commercial teams to increase product adoption and utilization

• Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and regulatory requirements

• Gather market intelligence and customer feedback

• Travel throughout Brazil to support customers and clinical activities

• Assist in driving successful clinical outcomes and customer satisfaction

Requirements

Required

• Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Nursing, Life Sciences, or a related field

• 3–7 years of experience supporting medical devices in clinical environments

• Experience working in surgical settings

• Strong communication, presentation, and training skills

• Fluent Portuguese and working proficiency in English

• Ability to work effectively in fast-paced clinical environments

• Willingness to travel regularly

Preferred

• Experience in wound closure, endoscopy, orthopaedics, or related surgical specialties

• Experience supporting product evaluations and clinical trials

• Strong relationship-building skills with healthcare professionals

• Knowledge of medical device regulations and hospital compliance standards
