An established engineering organization is seeking an experienced Bridge Project Manager to lead transportation infrastructure and bridge projects across Virginia and the Mid-Atlantic region.
This opportunity is ideal for a senior bridge engineer who is transitioning into a project management leadership role and is ready to take on greater responsibility for project delivery, client relationships, team leadership, and business growth.
Projects range from medium-sized infrastructure assignments to large-scale transportation and design-build initiatives.
Lead bridge and structural engineering projects from planning through delivery
Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, and resources
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients
Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams
Provide technical oversight and review of engineering deliverables
Monitor project progress and identify potential risks
Manage consultants and project stakeholders
Prepare project reports, presentations, and financial updates
Support staff development through mentoring and coaching
Participate in business development and proposal activities
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (Structural Engineering focus preferred)
10+ years of bridge and structural design experience
Professional Engineer (PE) license
Project management experience within transportation or infrastructure projects
Strong leadership and client communication skills
Experience with transportation agencies and public infrastructure projects
Design-Build and alternative project delivery experience
Experience managing multidisciplinary teams
Experience working on large-scale transportation infrastructure programs
Hybrid schedule:
3 days in office
2 days remote
Base Salary: $140,000 – $170,000
